Globe Cutting Discs UK is operated by New Hunt Scotland Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Globe Cutting Discs UK. We are the UK importer of Globe abrasive cutting discs. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Products and pricing

All prices shown on this website are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time you place it.

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly in appearance. All products are sold subject to availability.

3. Minimum order

Our minimum order quantity is 50 pieces per product line. Orders below this threshold cannot be processed. This applies to all orders placed through the website and by telephone.

4. Ordering and payment

Orders are placed through our secure online checkout, powered by Stripe. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering. We accept major debit and credit cards. We do not store your card details — all payment data is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

An order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when we dispatch the goods.

5. Delivery

We offer free delivery on all orders to UK mainland addresses. Delivery to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, islands, and other remote areas may be subject to additional charges or extended lead times — please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or circumstances outside our control.

6. Returns and refunds

If goods arrive damaged or are not as described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with photographic evidence. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

As our products are sold to trade customers for professional use, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 right to cancel may not apply. If you are a business customer, returns are accepted only for damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

7. Safe use of abrasive products

All Globe cutting discs must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, EN 12413 standards, and current HSE guidance on abrasive wheels (HSG17). Users must hold a valid abrasive wheels certificate where required by their employer or applicable regulations.

Discs must only be used on machines rated at or below the maximum RPM marked on the disc. Always inspect discs before use and discard any that are cracked, chipped, or damaged. Appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.

We accept no liability for injury, damage, or loss arising from improper use of our products.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you in connection with any order or use of this website is limited to the value of the goods you purchased. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Globe Cutting Discs UK or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
